Mark 14:17-26
It is quite a shock sometimes to remember that Jesus had all the emotions we have in our lives. In fact, the famous verse that is known to be one of the shortest in the bible comes to mind: "Jesus wept." With this in mind, one must wonder just how emotional the Lord's table really was for Jesus - surrounded by his loved ones, knowing that it would be the last meal they would all have together.
